Ok here is the first Thralldom album. It was recorded way back in 2002 and release on Bestial Onslaught [memba him?] on cd and Tim of Parasitic Records on vinyl. This album is way out of print and quite interesting to listen back to. Although I bet Alex Onslaught still has a few boxes squirreled away at his place.
In my humble opinion, I think this album has the strongest drum sound of all the thralldom records and the most time was put into writing it. We recorded this on an 8 track machine and to me that machine had a cetain magick quality to it, but I digress. I remember the song "Distorted Air" was recorded way after this and was added on after the initial session. [There were some red layout promos out there without that track] There was no mastering and this sounds quite raw to my ears in a good way! Beast Eye reminds me of the early days where we were just focused on creating a quality black metal album. This is a good blend of darkthroned bm mixed in with a touch of harsh noise [see "slicing morality" and "de mysterio"]. In the early 2000 there was still yet to be an explosion in USBM and think that helped us in creating something unique and solid. This record also has vocalist Hierosis on it is the only full length to have him on it. I initially planned to NOT be the thralldom vocalist but sooner or later i needed to sing my own lyrics. Enjoy this mostly forgotten relic [especially on my ears] of the past.
